The first week of Entertainment, Media, and Sports marketing was action packed. There where two guest speakers that came in to talk to our class. On Friday we took a trip to the Clemens Center in downtown Elmira. The first guest speaker was Mr. Matthew Hufnagel. He is a seriel entreprenuer, who works in the arena marketing business. The second guest speaker was Professor John Kelly who is the head of Theatre program at Elmira College. The trip to the Clemens Center was a very interesting experience. Ms. Karen Cromer who is the exective director at the Clemens Center gave us a tour of the facility and gave us an inside scoop on the marketing aspect. It was very interesting to learn about how these places get to show Broadway musicals.
